Aziza Fadwa has more than 30 years of experience as a Middle Eastern dancer and teacher of traditional Egyptian style Belly Dance. She teaches in Durham, Carrboro, and Cary, North Carolina.

Whether you call it Belly Dancing or Middle Eastern Dancing, the proper name for this art form is Raks Sharki, which literally translates to "Dance of the Orient." And it's been around for thousands of years.

Not only is Belly Dancing an art form, it's also a low impact aerobic exercise. So while you are learning to dance, you will be improving your muscle tone, your self-awareness, and most of all - having lots of fun.
